Frankenmuth traveled to Swan Valley with hopes of a victory that would keep their TVC East title hopes alive. Unfortunately, the Vikings would have nothing to do with that. The Eagles scored first with a 25 yard shot by Courtney Keyes over the outstretched arms of the keeper. Frankenmuth had two other very good scoring opportunities just after the score, however they could not get the ball in the back of the net. Swan Valley would get the tying goal, and the momentum was now shifting. The Vikings would score two more times to put Frankenmuth in a deep hole. In the second half, Swan Valley continued to win the majority of the 50/50 balls. Courtney Keyes would convert on a penalty kick in the second half to account for all the scoring that the Eagles would have in the half. When the final seconds clicked off the clock, it was Swan Valley that would get the win and put the Eagle’s chance at another conference title in jeopardy. The Eagles will play next at home against Pinconning on Thursday for Parents Night.
