The Lady Eagles traveled north to Bay City to take on the John Glenn Bobcats in a late-season, non-conference match-up. Both teams scheduled the game to serve as preparation for next week’s district tournament.
John Glenn’s defense was tough throughout the game as the Eagles struggled to knock down shots and were unable to get to the basket consistently. At the other end of the floor, the Eagles played well at times, but not often enough and gave up too many easy baskets to the Bobcats.
Leading the way for the Eagles was Brooklin Karwat, who finished with a team-high 13 points, while Emma Kerkau chipped in with 8 points, all coming in the opening quarter.
The Eagles will play their final regular season game of the year Thursday night, as they play host to St. Charles. The JV game begins at 6:00, while the varsity contest should tip-off around 7:30.
