Frankenmuth took on the Cavaliers of Carrollton and beat them 11-1 in a 5 run mercy game as all 14 girls got in the game. Shea Hecht threw a 5 hitter as she won her 11th game of the year. Her record now stands at 11-7. Shea has pitched more this year and increased her win total of 6 last year to 11 this year.

Frankenmuth still had high energy from the first game and scored 9 times in the top of the first as 13 Eagles batted in the inning. Tara Keller, Anna Smith and Kaylee Kujat each had 2 RBI hits in the inning. Carrollton scored a single run in the bottom of the 3rd inning making the score 9-1. Then in the top of the 5th inning, with two outs, Mackenzie Mcconnell walked and then Brooklin Karwat hit her 5th home run of the year giving the Eagles an 11-1 mercy win.

The two wins today raised Frankenmuth’s overall record to 27-12. The Lady Eagles will play the regionals Saturday at 10:00 against Flint Kearsley at Flint Kearsley.
