The varsity girls looked like they were competing at the State level on Saturday as our top five runners finished in the top 10 (1, 3, 4, 5, and 10). They ran hard and in a group for most of the race and that is what is needed to score well at the State Finals level (they are currently ranked 3rd in the State in Division 2).

The girls team (varsity and JV) set eight personal records and six season best marks.
Gabbie Michael once again led the way on the varsity team winning the overall race with an excellent time time of 18:50.1 (her third best time ever). Hailey Lenhard moved from ninth on the all-time top-10 record board to eighth with a personal record time of 19:56.3. Sophie Nedoff earned the 10th spot on the top-10 record board with her personal record time of 19:50.9. Carly Hammond was tenth with a 20:00.7 set in 2011 and has now rolled off the top-10 board.

The boys team finished 6th overall led by Wesley Beck who finished with a season best time of 16:59.1 for 9th place. The boys (varsity and JV) set six personal records and five season best marks.
