In a sloppy played defensive game, Frankenmuth lost game 2 to Mt. Pleasant 7-3. The Eagles made 5 errors which led to 4 unearned runs. It was a very disappointing game both offensively and defensively. The Lady Eagles stranded 9 runners in the game. They left the bases loaded after scoring 2 runs to cut the deficit to 6-3. Trailing 6-0 in the 4th, the Eagles got on the board. Faith Breinager tripled and came home on an RBI single by Aubrie Jacob, her 5th RBI of the day. In the 5th inning, a lead off single by Tara Keller and a fielders choice put runners on second and third. Emily Coulter and Claire Breinager each hit RBI singles cutting the score to 6-3 but it was all the offense would end up scoring for the game. Shea Hecht took the loss. 3 2/3 IP, 6 R, 6 H, 1 SO, 0 BB, 2 ER , Emily Coulter 3 1/3 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 4 SO, 0 BB, 1 ER.
