Coed Varsity Cross Country · FHS Cross Country Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity 1st at Eagle Invitational

  Place Points
Frankenmuth High School 1st 43

Both the varsity girls and junior varsity girls cross country teams captured first place at our home Eagle Invitational held on Thursday with 20 teams competing. The boys varsity placed 7th while the boys junior varsity placed 4th overall. Both the varsity teams had one of their top runners not compete as they are resting sore legs and they still perform well as a team. That is the great thing about team depth and how the team supports one another.

Gabbie Michael led the girls race from the start as she placed first with a time of 19:36 on the newly designed Frankenmuth Cross Country Course (thanks to Calvin Paten for his involvement in this redesign). Scott Nedoff led the boys varsity placing 6th overall with a time of 17:52.

Alyssa Abke and Lulu Karney led the girls junior varsity with 2nd and 3rd place finishes with times of 23:36 and 25:25. Jacob Caton led the boys junior varsity with his 8th place time of 20:44.
