The Frankenmuth Eagles advance in the State Playoffs to a District Championship game next week by defeating the Almont Raiders 28 – 0. After both defenses controlled a scoreless 1st quarter, Davin Reif broke into the scoring column at the 10:11 mark of the 2nd quarter on a dazzling 35 yard run and Ryan Brenner’s PAT put the Eagles up 7 – 0. At the 4:00 mark of the 2nd quarter, Riley Roy came up with a key interception and on the ensuing Eagle drive, Reif connected with Drew Titsworth on a 30 yard aerial strike. Frankenmuth took a 14 – 0 lead into halftime. On the next play, Konnor Roche scampered in from 5 yards and the Eagles took a 28 – 0 lead. The Eagle offense tallied 241 yards of offense, led by Reif’s 96 yards rushing..
