Coach Roger “Budd” Tompkins passes away at age 86.

Longtime football coach and guidance counselor at Frankenmuth High School passed away on Sunday, August 30 at the age of 86.  In 1966, Coach Tompkins was named the Varsity Head Coach of the Frankenmuth Eagles.  He coached the varsity from 1966-1979, compiling a record of 88-37, which included four Thumb “B” Championships and back-to-back Class
