Bridgeport High School
Frankenmuth High School
The Eagles defeated the Bearcats tonight, despite a lackluster effort. Trying to shake off the effects of a rare three-game losing streak for the ‘Muth, the Lady Eagle offense just wasn’t clicking as they committed too many turnovers to find any sort of rhythm on the offensive end. Fortunately, Frankenmuth’s defense played well enough to hold Bridgeport to just 22 points, including just a single point in the fourth quarter when the Eagles were able to pull away for the conference victory.
Lindsey Mertz was the only Frankenmuth player to reach double figures, leading the way with a game-high 10 points and hauling down 14 rebounds.
